School Attendance
It is extremely important that all young people maintain good attendance at school. Aberdeenshire Council policy states that this should be 90% or above.
Your young person’s attendance at school is regularly monitored by their House Team (Guidance Teacher and Depute/House Head). If attendance falls below 90%, there are several actions that may be taken to ensure we work with you to maximise their learning and progress.
In Secondary School, attendance is taken on a period-by-period basis, and our School Office follow the Aberdeenshire policy for follow-up.
