Pupils at Portlethen Academy have access to a number of supports and platforms to help them with their homework, revision and studying.
Class teachers have Microsoft Teams or Google Classrooms to share coursework resources and post homework/assignments.
A Support Study & Revision Pack has been created for pupils which explains different techniques to help learners revise in different ways. It can be downloaded here.
For Senior pupils studying National 5 and Higher subjects, they have access to ACHIEVE. For those studying N5, Higher and Advanced Higher, there are a large number of subejcts also available on SCHOLAR. And then for N4, N5, Higher and Advanced Higher - there are a large number of resources online via BBC Bitesize and e-Sgoil. Pupils who have Supported Study periods on their timetables will be supported to learn study techniques and apply them to their learning.
